admin
Who this is for
System Administrators and HR Managers.
Before you start
- Identify the personnel types in your organization
- Review the standard FLUXO role definitions
Standard Roles
FLUXO uses a role-based access control (RBAC) model. Permissions are bundled into roles that align with industrial operations:
- Technician: Field execution, evidence capture, and work order close-out.
- Supervisor: Work planning, assignment, and inspection scheduling.
- Manager: Reporting, KPI review, and module policy configuration.
- Administrator: System settings, user management, and module enablement.
Steps to Assign Roles
- Navigate to Personnel > Users.
- Select a user record and click Edit.
- Choose the appropriate Role from the dropdown menu.
- Assign the user to one or more Sites to define their data scope.
- Save changes to apply the new permissions immediately.
What to check next
- Verify user access by logging in with a test account
- Review site-level data visibility policies
Common mistakes
- Assigning Administrative roles to field staff
- Forgetting to assign a site scope after assigning a role
- Using "Manager" roles for users who only need to execute work
